After 3-4 seconds intercoms is lost sometimes with a buzzing sound and cant reconnect. It is showing up on the 'My Devices' tab on MyDrive Connect on my pc and there is activity when I plug it into the pc using a tomtom cable (spinning circle). Logging into Mydrive will typically require that you update your Mydrive software before connecting to the device. Calling command "Music", I can hear my music for max 30 seconds where the music stops the 1408. Our TomTom devices are identified as Network Adapters (removable), not USB storage devices. I connected the 2 20s's to each other using pairing intercom. Mac: We have adjusted the colour of the MyTomTom icon to match other icons in the Apple menu bar. The Exit button completely exits the application so that it no longer continues to run in the background. I connected my TomTom Rider 400 (newest OS via MyDrive connect) to the 1408 using GPS pairing. In the MyTomTom support application, there is now an Exit button next to the Close button. I connected my iPhone 5s (newest ios 8.3) using mobile phone pairing to the 1408.

We took these 2 20s's on a 3 day trial run. Fully charge by connecting it to a computer while off. Charging in a car during use will only maintain the battery. Max battery life (not connected to power) is 2 hours. Returned the unit for replacement and now I have an original 1407 unit and a newer 1408. Start by checking that TomTom Home or MyDrive Connect is not blocked anywhere. Straight out the box, one of the units cover came loose exposing the circuitry to the elements. Currently I am still awaiting a reply from my email as Tom Tom have managed to successfully remove all my services, this is so frustrating and nothing short of rubbish customer service.Bought a dual kit for Christmas and started using it in the spring. They say your issue is resolved when it is not, they tell you its now working and I have to go back to them and tell them its not solved or still showing a trail how they cannot see this is beyond me.
In two days so far all they have managed to do is remove all my services despite saying it will be sorted. So far I have spen 2 days on the TomTom so called Customer Support there is not phone number its all through chat and emails. However when you get it the items loaded on to the device is only European maps and a 3 months trial of traffic and speed camera's. I recently purchased the TomTom Go 620 WiFi and it is sold with Lifetime World Maps, Lifetime Speed Camera's and lifetime Traffic.
